I just wanted to welcome you to the forum but I noticed your wife Gail has already posted in another thread and has received a lot of support from our users which I hope has helped her feel a little bit better about it.

It might be worth perhaps her going to her GP and getting some advice on how to manage her anxiety and claustrophobia. There are many services available to help us conquer our fears.

If Gail ever needs to talk to our nurses about her radiotherapy treatment for example, they are available on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (it's a free number from UK landlines).
