Hi just joined the group I've never been on a forum before, just wanted to share my story, I was diagnosed with a lyposarcoma in 2007, was perfectly healthy non smoker, fit and healthy, had a nine pound tumour removed part of my bowel and a kidney. This was done at Christies in Manchester. I had 18 months of work as an electrician, had scans and appointments constantly and was doing really well. I thought I'd beaten it but in 2013 it came back and was told there was nothing that could be done, however I was not giving up that easily,so I found a surgeon willing to operate and had the opp in 2014. I'm doing ok up to now but having had two huge opps and my spleen removed this time I'm finding it very hard to recover like the first time. I have lots of pain from the opp site but psychologically I am really struggling. I'm seeing a psychologist every two weeks and she's really good and helping me as much as she can, but it's very hard
I'm not back at work and just can't even think about at like the first time round, I couldn't wait to get back, but I think because it's come back again it's so different this time always worrying about every little pain I feel.thanks for reading hope I didn't go on too long!
