Tamoxifen - side effects

Hi

i have been on tamoxifen for about 6 months(had early stage breast cancer, diagnosed last August, am premenopausal)had a DandC a couple of weeks ago as the doctor was not happy with the lining of my womb.  Now I have been told I need to have either my ovaries or uterus removed. Seems like a major operation to me and wondered if anyone else had had similar treatment
