I went to the doctors 6mths ago he said i had an enlarged prostrate. He gave me tablets, which are one every evening. Should i keep on these. o what do i do.
I would stay on these if this is what your doctor had recomended, unless they are cuasing you side effects in which case get an appiontment to see him as soon as possible. Hi Colin, You do not say what the tablets were for. Enlarged non-cancerous prostate can cause the same symptoms as maligant ones. Older men can have very slow growing cancers that can often be controlled with drugs.
As Brian advises contact the Nurses to assist with your concerns. Also your GP will be able to clarify what you are taking and I would have thought a return follow-up vist to monitor their effectiveness is normal.
