Have read your post and subsequent reply to Steven,  and just wanted to say there could be many factors why it is taking longer to feel better this time around. It could be just that this time, it has taken more out of you than you think, or it could be something as simple as the overcast weather holding you back as most of us feel better when the spring is here and the warmer weather arrives. Another thought is that having had cancer return, it could have knocked your self confidence and it may be worring you more than you will admit even to yourself.

I think like most of us who have had experiance of cancer, we dont know what to expect. I recovered very quickly from my prostate cancer; mind I never really felt that bad just the odd tiredness towards the end of my radiotherapy. My brother in law has just finished chemo for his prostate cancer and had been feeling very tired and lethargic. Doctor told him he would feel better in a couple of weeks but a month later he has improved a little is not as much as he thought he should.
