In 2014 I was diagnosed with stage 3b lung cancer (t4 n3 m0). I recently completed a course of chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy. I had several unpleasant side effects but these have almost disappeared now, so if anyone out there is about to begin, or is struggling with treatment, I hope it is reassuring to hear from someone else that it really will get easier. My oesophagus was restricted and very sore, so I know a few things about eating difficulties. I've also been treated in the past for both breast cancer and tonsil cancer. It's been hard work at times, and I understand how new patients might be feeling, so if anyone needs a bit of moral support, just drop me a post.
