Hi Jo,
Just wishing you a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Hope you are not snowed in
Take care, Best wishes, Brian.
Hi Jo, I was sorry to read your latest thread and wanted you to know you are in my thoughts. You have always appeared to approach everything you have been through with such positivity, but you know you are allowed to not be strong all the time. All your forum friends are here for you and wishing you all the best as you face the next steps. Take care Hope x
Hi Jo,
Sorry I missed the fact you have returned to work for I would have wished you well. Take it steady and please dont overdo things. I will be thinking of you, best wishes, Brian.
Hi Hope,
It's lovely to hear from you - apologies for taking so long to respond!
I've certainly 'moved on' emotionally since my initial post and having returned to work last week, don't have as much time for dwelling on the darker side of things. My head is now full of new policies and schemes of work for literacy! Wow, how fast things change when you've been away for a while!
Thankfully, it's half term for me next week, so it's been a gentle introduction back into the workplace and then a week off! Hope you're ok and your boys are still doing well with their studies.
Thank you for your continued support, Hope.
Hugs to you, Jo xx
Hi Nicola,
So sorry I've not replied sooner, but only just seen your lovely message. As I said to Hope, I seem to have picked myself up after my initial response to the news - and being back at work certainly keeps the old grey matter busy (not leaving much brain space for morose thoughts!)
I've been reading your thread too, to see what you're up to - back at work too I believe! And managing to put some weight on!
Well, I'm going to attempt to post this as once again, I'm having problems with the keypad (not sure if it's me or a forum glitch!)
Thank you for thinking of me, Nicola. Take care, hugs, Jo xx
Hi Brian,
Thank you for your kind message - I think my return to work was a rather spontaneous decision so that's probably why you missed to notice it. I had intended to wait until after the half term holiday to return to work, but after seeing the surgeon who assessed me as fit for work (if I wanted to go back!) I thought I'd get back into the swing of it all and then after the holidays, it won't be such a big shock to the system haha!
And the next half term is only 5 weeks - no wonder people think teachers have such a good job!
Well, the signpost is underway! My partner is doing the majority of the work as it's for his daughter, but I'm the chief tea maker and sweeper-upper haha! I'll try and post a photo when it's completed - but I'm having problems with posting on the forum at the moment. Hopefully, this will settle down soon!
Sending hugs to you and Mrs B, Jo xx
Good luck in the work house Jo. I admire you returning - but it does keep the mind busy! I have been off line recently as my mum is heaven-bound very very soon x
