Has anyone out there had a myxoid liposarcoma and how are you doing?

I had a myxoid roundcell (majority of it is roundcell) liposarcoma 8.5cm x 4.8cm x 3.8cm grade 2 in my upper thigh.

I had 6 weeks of radiation before surgery to remove it. My sartorius muscle was also removed.

Does anyone have experience of this?

Hi thanks for replying. No it's on Saturday but this has been going on for 6 months. Just my trousers/leggings on it is painful. I've had numerous visits to my GP and A & E but no one listened to me until October when a Dr thought I had a hernia (which it isn't) and referred me for the ultrasound. It will be nice to have answers after all this time because the not knowing what's going on has been the worst.
It must have been scary having a tumour that size!
