Thanks for reply .Great to hear you are well hopefully I will be in your shoes soon . My doctor is not offering me the 3rd treatment so hoping I’m cured with 2 .I have scan on Friday so time will tell .
thankyou for your reply I have told my doctor I’m worried to which he replied we do not know how many treatments are ever needed to cure you’ve had two treatments and said he was sure that the scan will show it’s gone but head is telling me I need the third feel I’ve come all this way down the chemo done the radiation I just feel a bit let down but I’m staying positive
Yes, well look at only having 2 treatments as a positive not a negative. GD only had 2 so you're not alone. Once you get the results back from your scan, that will make things clearer for all concerned. Chin up :)
I said I would get back to u after the 3yr milestone, so here I am reporting in. All checks have found no reoccurrence of the tumour or any others, so opefully this will continue to be the case for years to come.
