4th March is apparently Daffodil Day, I hadn't even heard of it before! My wife said she wanted one of those daffodil pin badges she saw advertised on TV yesterday. As we were at the hospital today for her chemo, I thought that I'd be able to pick one up for her, they'd be everywhere! Wrong! no sign of any at all.

Seems odd to me that if a cancer charity wants to raise money, what better place to do it than at a specialist cancer hospital? Now, we're relatively new to all of this, so maybe I am missing something here, perhaps one of you will put me straight!

Anyway, Through the Marie Curie website, I  found a local shop that is selling them so will pick one up tomorrow. If  that is all Mary wants then I'm happy to oblige! It could have been  something really expensive!

For now, I have uploaded a new avatar for the daffodil theme.
