  • Hi Mjweir,

Oh poor you having cancer 4 times in the same leg at such a young age. It must be mentally exhausting for you and I hope that you will meet others on this forum who are in the same boat and have had to deal with a sarcoma diagnosis. You might find useful to read the information we have on our website on sarcoma in particular the section on coping with soft tissue sarcoma as well as our list of sarcoma resources and support organisations you might also wish to reach out to.

It must be so frustrating for you to not have been offered any further treatment after the surgery and if you ever wanted to get in touch with our cancer nurses and ask them anything, feel free to call them on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

You are not alone and I hope that you will hear from other members of our community who have been diagnosed with sarcoma and who know exactly how you are feeling at the moment. It does help to talk to others who are in the same boat and I wanted to make you aware for example of   's thread on being diagnosed with a rare sarcoma so don't hesitate to reply on that thread if you wish.

I hope that you will get to connect with others on this forum who have been affected by sarcoma and who might also have been in a similar position to you regarding treatment.

We're always here anytime you need to talk.

    Best wishes,
