Marion: diagnosed last year with lung cancer

Hi there, my name is Marion last year at 65 I was diagnosed with lung cancer I had 3 rounds of chemo and surgery in February, everything was going well there was small nodules left 4mm when I went for my latest scan last week it had grown to 7 mm they are now going to discuss what happens next. I’m so worried.

  • I'm really sorry to hear that your latest scan has shown that the nodules have grown.

It's completely understandable why you're worried but fingers crossed this isn't a sign of the cancer returning and that the next course of treatment can reduce the size of the nodules again or remove them altogether.

Hopefully some of our members will offer their support to you soon but if it would help to talk any of this through with one of our cancer nurses they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very insightful and will do all they can to put your mind at ease.

We're sending you all our support Marion and wishing you all the best with what happens next.

    Kind regards,
