- My husband had a12 hour operation 4 weeks ago to remove an SCC from in front of his ear, his ear canal, his external ear, lymph nodes and the parotid gland. Currently he's not in a good place. But we are seeing daily improvements. He is quite depressed and anxious too. Are that any support groups for cancer survivors who have lost an ear? We hope to get results in 2 weeks time! Fingers crossed...
