One of the hardest parts of cancer is the dreaded ‘waiting for results’ But here I am again awake at 3am chatting to the forum. . Since 2019 I have had masectomy, chemo, radiotherapy and Diep reconstruction. Just recently a red patch appeared on my right breast Diep scar that blistered a little and oozed some pus. GP sent me to breast clinic and yesterday after mammogram and scan, the  breast surgeon performed a biopsy ‘just in case’ Results in a week. The radiographer thought it may be skin related maybe a small infection, a non committal diagnosis. So I am now waiting for the results. The fear of cancer returning never goes away and feeling a bit tired and out of sorts doesn’t help the mind. Fingers crossed it is skin related but a part of me is worried.Working this weekend which will help me stay in the power of positive thinking! Wondered if anyone else has had this problem with Diep?
