Well, it’s 4am and here I am posting on this chat. After all the surgery and treatment - I was diagnosed in 2019 and had Diep reconstruction 2 years ago, I still have cancer fatigue. Rarely do I sleep through the night and my energy levels dip mid afternoon. Of course, being 73 my age is a factor in this living in a constant fog of tiredness. All the usual blood tests, diet and exercise noted. I have been on Anastrozole for the last 5 years and now am on Diabetes drugs too, I have just had a referral back to the the breast cancer clinic as I have a red rash on my Diep scar. Always a worry.. oh how I long for a good nights sleep. But I am still working and lead a busy life and tell myself I am grateful to still be on the planet! Lights out let’s try again.., hope this strikes a chord with other insomniacs ..
