Cancer return - 2 months ago I was told I was in remission but lesion has been found in the same place as before. I'm dreading starting all over again

I was told I was in remission 2 months ago but a camera is showing lesion on the back of my tongue in same place as before.

Appts at hospital next week every day before biopsy.

I am 74 with no family and am dreading all the trips on public transport starting all over again.

I had 6 week of daily radiotherapy in July and August.

Any thoughts?
