I've had treatment for Melanoma and will be starting on immunotherapy using Pembrolizumab and was wondering if anyone has gone through this treatment and I would like to know what type of side effects I might experience.

Hi EvieSR, I've now had 4 cycles of Pembro, the last 2 were the subcutaneous injection which takes around 5 minutes compared to the 30 minutes infusion.
As for side effects I've only had some tiredness and bits of lack of energy but nothing too bad, pretty mild i'm glad to say and I'm going about doing normal things so I know everybody's different but this is my experience and I asked the medical team about people's experience in general and they said, some tiredness and skin rash were the most common side effects, I haven't had any skin rash so far, I hope this puts you a little more at ease.
Fairman.
Thanks for your reply Fairman, that is reassuring. i will also be having the subcutaneous injections. Hoping that in between each dose (every 3 weeks) I will be able to get on with life!
