I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time with some of the side effects of your chemo Wilma, especially as it's only been a week since you started.

I hope this information we have about coping with diarrhoea will be useful but if you haven't done so already, make sure you let your medical team know what you're going through as they will be in the best position to advise and may be able to provide you with some medication that can counteract this.

Hopefully some of our members who have myelofibrosis or who have experienced severe diarrhoea whilst having cancer treatment will be along soon to share their experiences and advice, but if you'd like to speak to one of our cancer nurses, you can contact them on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very well informed and will do all they can to help.
