Extreme heart burn, burping and difficulty in swallowing

 I am on chemotherapy for lymphoma cancer and had had two cycles. Since yesterday I feel pain/burning when I burp and swallow (food or drink). It feels something is sitting in my stomach. 

Is this common side effect ? What can I do to help me with this pain/discomfort ?

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing these difficulties - I hope that since posting here this has eased a little, or that you may have received some other advice in the meantime.

    If you have any queries or concerns, it would be best to give your medical team a call. Hopefully you have the contact details of a relevant nurse involved in your care who will be able to help.

    We do have nurses available to talk things through with if you would like to - they are available on 0808 800 4040 (Monday-Friday, 9-5) - but do give your team a call first if you can.
