Hi, I was diagnosed with Meduallry thyroid cancer just before my 27th Birthday. At first they confirmed it was Papillary and I had a total thyroid removal along with neck dissection for lymph nodes. I am 10 weeks post op. It still doesn’t seem real but I stay positive. I talk about it openly to my family/friends I feel it gets rid of that taboo with the word cancer. There are many forums such as this one on Facebook and other social media that I find very useful in understanding all of this as I can relate and know where I can go for support with people who are going through it to.
its okay not to be okay and you will find strength that you may have not known you ever had. I keep a healthy mind it makes me stronger,
