I'm ten day post op after lobectomy. It is less painful when the drain comes out. Still very uncomfortable. Feel ok in myself. Unable to sleep in bed. To painful getting in and out.  Sleeping on a recliner. Glad your op is over. Hope you get the drain out soon. It does get easier. All the best.

Thanks Christine. Just had an x-ray to see how everything is. That will guide the drs as to whether or not they take out the tubes. Will keep you posted … take it easy too.

I hope you are sleeping a bit better. Going to try the reclining chair tonight too (though I can’t get it to recline, lol). Might ask the nurses.

Yes we are. We will beat it. Hope you get your tubes taken out and get home. I tried the spare bed today as it's lower. Manged to get in and out of it. Must be on the mend. We have a good chance of beating this with the surgery. All we have to do is recover. All the best for best fir getting home. Take care.
