I'm sorry to hear you are having treatment for oesophageal cancer and currently having issues with swallowing.

This must be a very difficult time but I hope the stent that has been fitted today will help make things easier for you.

I'm glad you've managed to connect with some of our members on another thread who are going through this, but hopefully some of them will come and chat to you here as well.

If you need any further information or advice from one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very insightful and will do all they can to answer your questions and support you. If it's easier, you can make a post in their section of the forum called ask the nurses.
