Hi Julie and welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear that everything is getting you down at the moment. It's good news that you've completed your six rounds of treatment so hopefully the scan will bring some positive news. It's important to look after your mental health during this time. We have some excellent suggestions about how you can look after your mental health on our website. Not all of them might be useful to your situation, but It can be helpful to try and look after your mental health in more than one way. So, try several things and see what works for you.
Do continue to talk about how you feel, posting on Cancer Chat is a good first step and a great place to get support.
Wishing you all the best with the scan results

Hi Julie,
A very warm welcome to our forum.
I am sorry to hear that you are feeling so low at the moment. This is not unusual. We often refer to the cancer journey as a rollercoaster of emotions - up one minute and down the next. This is not an easy diagnosis to cope with, but you're getting there. We all tend to think of the negatives on this journey, but try to look for the positives. You have already come a long way and have completed your chemo.
It is always an anxious wait for the results of your scan, but here's hoping that this will prove to be another positive. You have made a good start by contacting the forum. Many of us here have walked in your shoes. Try not to look too far into the future. Take things one day at a time, or even hour by hour if need be.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you scan goes. We are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
