Melanoma treatment

I have been on Pembro, immunotherapy for 4 months, due to malignant melanoma, and it’s draining me mentally and physically.  I struggle to do almost anything. I’m always tired out and suffer constantly from an extremely dry mouth. It doesn’t sound much compared to what some have to go through, but at 82 it’s a struggle to get through each day. Is anyone else experiencing anything similar.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with some side effects of pembrolizumab. It sounds like it's impacting your daily quality of life, and I can understand the frustration that this may be causing you. Do talk with your clinical nurse specialist, as there may be things they can suggest or prescribe to help with some of these side effects. 

    Hopefully, some of our members who have experience with this treatment will respond to share their stories with you.
