Hi Sitty,
A very warm welcome to our forum.
I am sure that the staff carrying out your radiotherapy will adjust your treatment, according to the size of your bust, so please try not to overthink things and worry. Remember that this is something that they do day and daily, so hopefully you'll be fine. Have you got a start date for this treatment yet?
Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Ive recently finished breast radiotherapy, they measure you before starting radio and during, try not to worry about side effects that might happen! speak to the radiotherapy team if you are anxious, have any questions or concerns they are there to support, good luck through your treatment!
Hi I had radiotherapy last year. I was given breathing exercises to do prior to the treatment. Staff at the unit were excellent and really supportive. It is very cold in there but you won't be in there long. I was very tired and still am following the treatment but just take each day as it comes. All the best if you live in England have you sent for a little lifts box? It's a wonderful charity that supports women with breast cancer. Boxes are for prior to surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Well worth googling them.
I think there is a lot of planning before first session. I’m sue to start mine in May/june. I have also read that if you can’t do the deep breath hold they can find an alternative way to keep you safe on left side
