Just wondered if anyone else can actually feel their cancer? When I lay down to sleep it feels sort of numb where the cancer is. No pain as yet, but it’s as if I can feel it.

Hi
I had breast cancer double mastectomy lymph nodes removed. Ovaries removed.
can’t believe it has spread to my bones after 20 years. And I don’t have a pain or an ache I played golf 3 times last week.
it’s great your family are around you.
I will know more when I see the consultant on Thursday.
meditation helps I am told but not doing it myself.
I plan on keeping up my normal routine while I can. Semi retired aged 64.
thinking of you.

Hi
what side effects are you enduring from ribociclib.
I wish you well.
sally.
Hi Sally
Firstly I hope it goes well on Thursday. I have an oncologist call on 31st regarding results from an MRI!
I have not been able to go back to work yet as I had pneumonia alongside my diagnosis, was hospitalised and had to have a daily nurse for quite some time. Much better now, but it’s constantly on my mind.
however, I have my first grandchild due in June and am so looking forward to meeting him. Just hope I am still ok.
I am also 64 (65 in June).
wish you well

At first I was on 125 but that had to be reduced as I was getting severe pains in my legs. Better now I’m on 100.
Gosh you are going through the mill. It’s great there is a grandchild on the way. Congratulations.
I don’t have kids or grandkids but a load of grand nephews and grand nieces and I love them. I was at a confirmation of one them yesterday. His name is Iarla..that’s an Irish name. He is 12 and a beautiful kind boy mad for sport like me.
hopefully you can get back to work soon. X
