  • Hi Catlady01,

I noticed you haven't had a reply yet so I just wanted to check in and see how you are doing.

I hope your recovery is going well but if you are experiencing any pain and are worried about the lack of medication you were given post op, don't hesitate to get in touch with your medical team or breast cancer nurse (if you were assigned one) as they'll be in the best position to help.

I hope this information we have about pain control after breast cancer surgery will prove useful as well but if you'd like to discuss any of this further with one of our cancer nurses, they're available Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m on 0808 800 4040. They're very insightful and will do all that they can to help.

We do have a lot of breast cancer members on the forum, so hopefully it won't be long until some of them stop by to share their experiences and advice.

    Kind regards,

  • That's great to hear Catlady01.

Do keep an eye on things and if anything becomes unmanageable make sure you let your medical team/GP know straight away.
