There is information on our website on afatinib which you might find useful and they mention in there possible side effects you might encounter and we also have information on side effects of cancer drugs including on your mouth and cancer drugs and tips on how to cope with them.  

If you haven't done so already, make sure you mention these side effects you have been experiencing to your medical team including the swollen lips and ask whether there is anything that could help.
