Low energy after starting treatment for prostate cancer

I am starting prostate treatment with injection and medication. I am totally fatigued and exhausted most of the day i.e. garden sweeping,light housework is my limit for 30 minutes a day.

Do

  • Me again...see texting is a chore...mind you it always was....Does anyone have food items or routines they can suggest that might provide oomph.

    I don't want to go jogging! or yodel naked up an Alp

    Just the basics.

    I can see you have been speaking to others on the forum which is good - I hope that it can be helpful for you.

  • like you I'm in early stage of treatment for prostate cancer,  been on hormone tablets for 17 days, had the first injection 4 days ago.

    I'm still working full time but it's a struggle,  after a hour I'm already very hungry and running out of energy.  So tired I mostly are in bed by 8 to 8:30 , it's the mood swings I really suffer with.

    Due to start the radiotherapy in March, im dreading it read so many negative things,  Will i be able to travel by bus to the treatment and return on the bus ?
