Due to go on holiday at end of November, but having breast cancer op on the 1st November. Will I still be able to go?

Recently diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer,going for my op on the 1st Nov to get the lump and a couple of lymph nodes removed, as a precaution. Booked a holiday to Turkey ages ago,on the 30th November for 3 weeks They've told me I won't get radiotherapy till January.Providing I can get my travel insurance upgraded,what's everyone's thoughts on me going on this trip.?

    If you haven't already, do discuss this with your doctor to get their thoughts and any advice they may have.

    Hopefully you'll also get some replies from other members of our forum with any thoughts.

                                 sorry to read your post, a difficult time and l could appreciate the desire for a warm break away from it all. Just be sure to check your medical insurance cover will allow for any unforeseen problems arising whilst you are away,
