Battling with stage 3 nodular melanoma for a while now.
Early this year it spread to my lungs and liver. Inoperable,
Incurable, 38years old with 5months to a few years tops
Finding its very hard to cope.
Anyone had these feelings of hopelessness.

Hi,
Although I've been Stage 3 for many years I know how the sense of hopelessness is all consuming. Forgive me if any of my suggestions have already been tried but firstly, are you on drug and/or any type of surgical treatment? Have your team explored any trials that you may be eligible for? Have you checked out https://melanomafocus.org/ especially their Trial Finder page? Have you looked at counselling through Macmillan or https://melanoma-me.org.uk/ or have you found a support group in your local area? I hope you don't mind but I have sent you a friend request. If you accept it we can chat about where you are & I may know of a local melanoma patient support group that may be helpful. Sometimes, just sharing how you feel with others in the same situation can make things a little more bearable. You are not alone.
Angie (Stage 3 melanoma patient since 2009)
