I'm suffering with insomnia after taking Naraparib. Does anyone know if this will get better with time please? I've been on it just over two weeks and I'm awake until 2/3 in the morning. I'm so tired.

Hi Elphelia. I've been on it since May and started to take it at night, as they advised, in case of nausea. However, I've been lucky not to be affected by that, and so I contacted my CNS team and was advised to shuffle the time backwards by one hour every day until I got to breakfast time. I've been taking it at that time ever since and my sleep has improved. However I am still affected by hot flushes at night, but can't be sure whether that's the pills or just being post menopausal! Suggest you speak to your CNS team for advice. Good luck!
Thanks for your reply to my question. I'll certainly speak to my nurse specialist about changing the time I take the meds. Your input has been very helpful.
