A very big welcome to our friendly community. Well done for getting through your first chemotherapy and immunotherapy! An important milestone and it's normal that you felt emotional. Keep strong, I just wanted you to know that you are not alone and I hope that you will hear from other members of our community who have been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma and that they will come and share their treatment experiences with you. 

I am glad you have the support and love of your husband and little children by your side - the little ones will no doubt be bringing you a lot of comfort and joy (and mischief!) during this challenging time. I hope your mum is doing well now - having been through the same she will as you say know exactly what you're up against and I hope that you can confide in her and that she will be there for you for endless cups of tea and chats as you go through treatment. 

I think we have an active member here Pippin24 who has mentioned being diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma - have a look at their thread and feel free to share your story or they may pop up and say hello. I hope that you will get chatting soon here with others who have been affected by this type of breast cancer. It helps to talk to others who are in the same boat.
