My husband has had liver resection but unfortunately the cancer is still there & 3 more spots in the liver. He will be having immunotherapy in the next 3 weeks. What are the prospects? The doctor didn’t sound very positive.
Hi Karen, I just wanted to offer my support to you. My Dad was diagnosed with primary liver cancer in 2020, transplant in 2022, unfortunately the cancer returned to the new liver in 2023 and he had radiotherapy end of last year but sadly we lost him in April this year. I know this isn’t what you would want to to read and I’m not saying for a moment this is your husbands prognosis but I just wanted to say I’m here if you need to talk in general, I find that with Dad the whole liver cancer situation was so complex, it’s not extremely common primary liver cancer and I had a lot of questions.
