Hi
I am losing my hair so decided to have it cropped short. Starting to look a patchy now and feels sore to touch. Has anyone any lotions or potions to recommend to put on scalp.
I wash hair, the little I have with baby shampoo.
Thank you

Hi Sandradee,
We have a page on our website about hair loss and thinning, which has a few tips that may be useful.
It might also be worth having a look at the Look good feel better organisation, which may have some more practical tips.
My reply here will give your post a little boost so a few more people should see it. Hopefully you'll get some more replies from others with similar experience or advice to share.
Wishing you all the best,

I use oils (jojoba, almond oil) often with essential oils - chamomile and lavender are good. Also face serums. And The Body Shop ginger shampoo and conditioner are great. I use them morning and evening. The best product ever is coconut oil.
Thank you for sharing your tips. Do you just t to in the coconut oil into your scalp?
I use it all over and my husband uses it for his feet. A little goes a long way and it smells a feels marvellous
Thank you. Where do you buy it from?
Neals Yard but I’m going to look in Sainsbury’s and Holland and Barrett. It’s classed as a food hahaha
Great thank you
Hi Sandra deep, I was prescribed Betamethasone Valerate 0.1% scalp application by my oncologist.
I found it extremely good at getting rid of the horrendous itching I was going through. Very soothing too.
Thanks for the tip
