I've just found out my GBM4 brain tumour has started growing again after 12 months of being stable thanks to my temozolomide and radiotherapy last year - I'm due to find out from the MDT meeting tomorrow how I move forward from here ' has anyone been in the same position ?

    I'm sorry to hear that after things have been stable for the past 12 months you've recently been told that your GBM4 tumour has shown growth again. It must be a worrying time for you. 

    How did you get on with the meeting yesterday? I hope the team was able to give you some answers and discuss the next steps with you. 

    If there's anything you'd like to talk through with one of our nurses you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can.

    I am in the same position,  I had 6 clear scans then in May told it was regrowing,  I  had my 2nd Craniotomy 3 weeks ago, and starting to feel normal again , but it's scary when it comes back especially when you thought the treatment had worked . I have been told the next step will be further TMZ , but haven't started yet will be discussed at the MDT in Thursday.  Stay strong , and best wishes ,aways believe you are going to get through it ! Positive mental attitude is everything
