With this in hand and a bit more research via the forum, I have found that the ever reliable and informative AngieT has mentioned a website that has information about this type of immunotherapy and it's potential side effects. It can be found on Melanoma Focus.
i am on a 2 year treatment course with this , for stage 3 melanoma , I’ve had 3 sessions so far 1st session no problems in and out in 40minutes , second session not so good had a reaction , which I was assured is quite common , it was handled brilliantly , and treatment continued , but this session lasted a good 4hrs , just before my last session I received a call to tell me that the last blood test showed very low cortisol and I needed more tests , outcome steroids and adrenal appointment, (bloods taken 5 days before every infusion )
I am very worried about the side effects of the treatment , a case of sounding like the cure is worse than the illness but in a no win position , so have put my faith and trust in the team
