Parotidectomy

Hi I'm due to have parodecromey as I have a pleomorphic adenoma. I have alot of concerns about this operation and the recovery and side affects. After i read all the comments on this and still feel concerned. Can any one offer advice, anyone who  has been through this procedure. 

I'm more concerned that it may be cancerous.ive had the lump over 6 years. It has gradually increased in size. It is situated around my facial nerve. They have booked me for this Thursday and I'm so  scared tbh.
