  • Hello Damagedsoul

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with pain and swelling under your arm. I know from some of your other posts that you've read that you're really struggling with your diagnosis and all that it has brought to your life. It's understandable that you've been feeling anxious and overwhelmed.

If you don't feel able to go to the hospital, please make an appointment to speak with your GP. Explain that you've not been for any of your hospital appointments because of your fear but that you now have this swelling which is causing you a lot of pain. Your GP could be the first port of call to get some help and support to improve your pain management and anxiety. If you don't feel able to make that phone call then perhaps your partner or a friend could support you with seeing your GP.

If you'd like to talk things through with one of our nurses you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

    Best wishes,
