oesphageal stent

hi everyone...my husband had a stent fitted for his oesphageal cancer 2 weeks ago today....although he can eat ok again the pain and acid reflux he is getting is awful and he says the pain is unbearable when it comes on.....does the pain ever calm down ?...thank you

Has he spoken to his GP?
His anti-reflux medication may need changing too.

hi davek....i had to phone an ambulance for him this morning as he has brought up some dark blood...he was in the a & e all day but no help or offers to change his medication but we see his consultant on tuesday and will be asking him..thanks for replying x
