Hi I had endometrial cancer 8 years ago + it's come back + gone into lungs. Lungs ok in themselves but tumour in each lung. Said they couldn't do anything but I'm now having a course of stereotactic radiotherapy. (Now grade 4.) Anyone else got this?

Hello Mrs M I feel for you, I developed secondary endometrial nodules in the lungs 2 years ago which was 2 years after the primary cancer. 8 rounds of chemo removed them apart from a small area of scarring in one lung. Regular CT scans revealed 2 nodules returned in this area in one lung and I'm now on immunotherapy which is keeping them stable (one is reducing slightly in size). Like you I feel well with no lung symptoms and grateful for every day.
Hope your treatment is going okay and you continue to feel well.
Thanks so much for your reply. Been told they can't get rid of the tumours but the radiotherapy may shrink them or slow them down. Finish treatment on 5/4/24 so then 6wks wait for scan to see if worked? I'm also on hormone tabs for now? What is immunotherapy please. Hope you're doing well x
Hi Womble5,
I had EC 2.5 years ago, stage 2 grade 2. In the checkup scan last week, a 1.8mm nodule was found on my left lung. The doctor scheduled another scan 3 months later. Rather worried that it is the EC coming back to the lung.
I hope you are doing well with your current treatment.
Best wishes
Chui
Best wishes to you Mrs-M
