Metastatic breast cancer

Hi I've just been for results of a PET scan which has shown my cancer can no longer be cured only treated as I have a nodule around my heart and one in my lung as well as the original tumour. I'm going to be having Abraxane weekly chemotherapy and Pembrolizumab immunotherapy every 6 weeks, I'm struggling with the question is this it for the rest of my life? Will I never not be having treatment, is anyone else in the same position?

Thank you Pippin 24, I'm up and down at the moment, probably googling too much about my cancer, had a nice afternoon in Derbyshire though, my partner tries so hard to pick me up and make me feel better, hope you're feeling OK xx

So glad to hear you have had a lovely afternoon. Googling is sometimes not so helpful, I found it caused me more stress to be honest. Good to hear your husband is doing his best to make you feel better, what would we do without them? I've felt a bit more tired today, but doing ok thanks. Xx
