Hello all,new here and 3rd Chemo down,3 to go has anyone advice on how to sleep , i get about 2 hours a night.and it is a nightmare.Thanks any advice appreciated
Hello Sleepy , how are you doing ? Had chemo myself a year ago . What is the problem ? Are you awake because of steroids or are you worrying? I took mine in afternoon ,not evening . I would usually read or watch something interesting late into the night . This won’t go on for long . Try and get rest in the day if you can ,I remember cleaning the house into the early hours too . Thanks for reply,i had appendix and intestines removed September,recovery home and then Chemo started january.Loads of side effecfts,and constant stomach pain ever since but procedure seems to have healed.Seeing Cancer Big boss Tuesday and shall seek further advice/concerns ref pains.I Suppose it is not suprising i cannot sleep ..
Hello Sleepyguy,you definitely shouldn’t be in pain . I am surprised they haven’t sorted good pain control for you . Hope you can get this sorted,I didn’t have pain .Had bilateral mastectomies and then chemo.
Yes a constant 7/10 -8/10 pain wise,they changed tablets and said scan was ok..Definately something going on which doesnt help..Thanks anyway hope all works out well for you
