I was diagnosed with stage 2 bowel cancer its now been removed now my question is do I do chemotherapy as its my decision. If I don't there is a 20% chance of it coming back. I am 50 and would like for anyone who has decided either way.

I had Lymphoma Cancer and it has come back, so fighting again..
Personally, at your young age. Go for the Chemo, it is your advantage to live longer.
Hello Jaahan,I would take everything they throw at you ,good luck xxx
Thanks good luck with your treatment. Fingers crossed
Thanks I am worried chemo is going to turn everything upside-down. Whereas the cancer just came and went in 6 weeks.
I had double mastectomies and was told everything had been removed ,as well as my lymph on the left . I had the choice of chemo too , went for it and didn’t feel too bad .
A year later now I am feeling great ,have also had reconstructive surgery now . I am 62 .
All the best xxx
Hi thanks for your response. How long was your chemo for?
I started mine on 22.December,once a fortnight ,until the 7 March last year
It's 100% your decision obviously, but given your age I'd be chucking everything possible at it.
The chemo regime for bowel cancer is apparently much better tolerated than many, so it might not be as bad as you think (I've just started it as neo-adjuvant therapy for rectal cancer, I'm a bit younger than you, and it's - touch wood - quite bearable so far).
If you really don't get on with it you can come off it, at least you'll have given it a shot.
Thanks for replying. Hope it all works out for you.
