Weight Loss

I have had all the chemo and radiotherapy and that finished on the 29 Dec last year.

I am now totally struggling,  I struggle to eat , my weight has dropped trumatically and I have no energy at all.

Find out this month if all this has been worth it but I feel worse now than I did through all the treatment.

In total I have lost just under 4 stone but it is continously dropping.

Anyone understand??

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat, Amigo.

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling overwhelmed and struggling with the aftermath of chemo and radiotherapy. Weight loss and low energy levels can be challenging to cope with, especially after going through such intensive treatment.

While I can't provide specific advice, there are a few pages from our website I wanted to share with you as they cover fatigue and weight loss for those who went or are going through cancer treatments, hopefully that can be of some help.

Hopefully, others who have had similar experiences will come along shortly to offer advice. That being said, if you feel like asking some questions to our team of nurses, they'd be happy to talk things over with you Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m on this freephone 0808 800 4040.

Last but not least, please remember you're not alone, there is always someone here if you feel like a chat.

    All the best,
