I’d never condone smoking, but it sounds like you have enough stress in your life at the moment without adding quitting to the mix! Maybe you could put quitting onto your to do list for when you come off chemo? You could repost on Ask a Nurse for a clinical view - my guess is that it won’t make much difference in the short term.
