Anyone out there with the same? Think I’m ready for a buddy… getting frustrated with family and friends thinking I’m “fine”. I’m very much keeping positive but would love to talk to someone in same position. Thanks in advance Kelly

I hope your doing well following surgery and can say coconut oil on the skin really helps actually I bathe in it to ensure the skin is not tight.
Hiya Kelly,
how you doing? I am also stage 4 breast cancer and also her2+. I am happy to chat with you.
Hi there! I’m Kelly. How’s it going with you?
I have this too had it 12 yrs ago and it’s came back in my spine and neck just had major surgery waiting for next stage of treatment, I’m so scared my children don’t realise how bad it actually is I’m scared to tell them
Hi I’m stage 4 HER2 with secondary growths in my spine. Would love to chat with anyone here. I am a very positive person and try to do as much as I can to lead a close to normal life but I’m struggling with insomnia, fatigue and back pain. Generally it doesn’t get me down but sometimes I get very panicky and think I’m pretending everything is ok when it really isn’t. I’m on Phesgo targeted treatment every 3 weeks and Denosumab bone strengthening treatment every 6 weeks. I cope with the Phesgo ok but find the bone strengthening treatment tougher to cope with (like a bad flu with nausea and painful aching bones).I’ve had to stop the Denosumab while having dental treatment and have become quite dehydrated. Would be keen to chat with anyone with similar experience xx
Hi Sharon!
I’ve sent a request to you. I’m Her2 with secondaries! Talk soon
Hi,
my story begins in 2017 when I was diagnosed straight to secondary. Aggressive tumours in my breast and a met in my liver. I was her2+ and hormone positive. I had chemo first, mastectomy and radiotherapy. I had a complete response to the chemo a. The liver met disappeared. I developed heart failure from 7 cycles of herceptin. I was on letrazole. I remained stable for five years.
last summer it came back in my sternum and chest wall. It’s no longer hormone positive only her2+ now. I had 6 cycles of paclitaxol and 12 or 13 cycles of phesgo before scans showed progression.
I now have another chest wall tumour. Rib involvement, destruction to my sternum, a hole in one of the vertebrae in my neck. And a met in my liver. Oh and fluid on my lungs which could be cancer or related to the heart failure.
I had one off radiotherapy on my neck and sternum for the pain and I have commenced on kadcyla and zoledronic acid.
I have ended up admitted to hospital with dehydration a coup,e of times this year. I have been admitted after each cycle of treatment with a high temp/infection. I just feel like I can’t catch a break just now.
I would love to speak to you all.
Same my partner thinks I’m fine just because I have had surgery, he doant actually realise it’s stage 4 breast cancer, but I’m sure reality will hit him when I go and see my oncologist on the 4 th sept , then he might stop being so mean to me when he having a bad day. X
