This is a difficult decision to make. When your consultant has offered chemo, I expect that they feel that this would be the best call for you. Although I can understand your worries for your special needs child in the short term, chemo could well prolong your life in the long term. With an aggressive cancer, why take the risk? Unfortunately, this is a question that only you can answer.

Whatever decision you reach, I hope that it is the right one for you.

My first diagnosis was in 2016.  My oncotyoe score was 28 but they didn’t recommend chemo as they felt the risks outweighed potential benefits.

Sadly 7 years on I’ve just been diagnosed with triple negative bc so just waiting to hear about chemo.
