Tamoxifen - good and bad.

Hello,

I was diagnosed with grade 2 breast cancer and recently had a lumpectomy. My pathology results came back and lymph nodes were clear and clear margins also. I will also be getting radiotherapy and started on Tamoxifen. I’m really quite worried about taking it as I’ve read some horror stories on side effects!

Really looking to hear some good and bad experience please?

It is very difficult to think about the prospect over treatment, burning and permanent damage from radiotherapy, because start all. Are it sound so funny. Tattoos and oh we have never heard of complete skin breakdown! I went back to the oncologist who had told that because of the shape of by breast it would be total breakdown. They are talking about deep burns….but the radiologists giggled and said they had never seen anyone with that. It’s a big deal….think about it
