Hi I was diagnosed last year in march with lung cancer that has mastesised to two lymph nodes in my neck, had 12 chemos nearly killed me, now on immunotherapy which seems ok but my kidneys are playing up, has anyone else dealt with this ?
I'm very similar, 8 x chemo and now 8 x immunotherapy. The chemo was hideous and the immuno much kinder. However, fatigue, upset stomach and such seem to be normal. I'd speak to your doctor. Apparently there's a very wide range of side effects. I get 3-4 days each time of utter exhaustion and diarrhea.
Good luck with the immunotherapy, it takes a few months to get working I was told. My tumour has stabilised, I'm hoping the next scans show the thing shrinking. Hope your symptoms calm down and the therapy is working for you. One side effect sounds so much better than the horrid chemo. All the best
